MAD Art Gallery comprises two complementary contemporary art spaces – in Poznań and, most recently, in Warsaw – established to create a significant platform for dialogue between the artist, the artwork, and the viewer. Our mission is to initiate exhibitions and projects that critically address current social, cultural, and political phenomena, while remaining firmly grounded in a reflection on the language of art and its potential. We place particular emphasis on artistic practices that transcend disciplinary boundaries, explore new media, temporality, and performativity, as well as works with a strong conceptual foundation. MAD Art Gallery operates as a site of encounter and exchange between diverse perspectives – bringing together established artists with emerging voices who are in the process of defining their position. We prioritize creative practices that not only interpret reality but actively shape it – through aesthetic tension, formal experimentation, and social engagement. The gallery’s program encompasses curated solo and group exhibitions, site-specific interventions, artist residencies, and research projects, developed in collaboration with critics, scholars, and cultural institutions.
